On not such a serious note, I have been on a cleaning binge...actually, I still am, but I really needed a break. One can only vacuum so long before risking permanent hearing damage! I have discovered some things that I really, strongly, dislike.
- Dusting. Hands down, my least favorite chore ever. My second least favorite, washing dishes, can't even compare. It takes too long, and I just feel like I'm spreading it around and stirring it up. Plus, I really don't like blowing black boogers...overshare I know, sorry, but YUCK!
- Carpeted steps. Honestly, who in world thought that carpeted steps would be a good idea? Even if your vacuum fits on them, you have to lug the vacuum up and down them. And if your vacuum doesn't fit on them, you have to get out the various attachments, get down on your hands and knees, and s l o w l y work your way up them. Ugh.
- Did I mention dusting?
- Cleaning the toilet. Just gross.
- Dusting.
- Washing dishes. I try to keep up, but sometimes I get pretty apathetic about it. I try to rinse things out so they don't get nasty, but you know...
- You know what goes here...
- There are some things I like about cleaning though. I actually like cleaning in general. It's cathartic for me. I like the patterns the vacuum cleaner leaves, I like the fresh smell of what I use to mop my floors, I like organization!
Okay, back to it. 25% done!
Peace and love,
M
