My favorite color in the whole world is grass green. It's fresh, bright, and reminds me of new beginnings and I love the smell of freshly cut grass. Here's my own little
etsy treasury.
There are so many beautiful yarns, like this one from
Yarmee, on etsy that I wish I knew how to knit. The only bad thing [well, besides the fact that I can't knit] is that it's wool, and if I even
think about wool, I start itching. Oh boo you, you sensitive Ziegler skin! Seriously though, you don't even know how hard it's been the past couple of
winters to find sweaters that keep me warm without turning me into a 5-foot bundle of hives.
Next, I absolutely adore this Zebra keyboard shirt from
boygirlparty. It's the perfect mix of clever and geek that tickles me.
One of my biggest regrets from my college days is that I had no time for "fun" classes. Finishing a baccalaureate nursing degree and university honors program in 4 years didn't leave a lot of room for classes that didn't fit into the requirements for my major. I wish I had another 4 years to take all the classes I wanted to, like pottery, painting, piano, languages, religion, politics...and I wish they didn't have to count towards a GPA ;) Alas, you can only take so many credits "pass/fail," and be assured, I would definitely be taking all those art classes pass/fail [for those of you who do not know my artistic talents, consider yourself lucky]! But I would love to know how to make something like this pretty littly bowl from
lurearts. I love the free-flowing, organic edges to it.

These pretty little earrings from
juneshin are delicate and vibrant all at once. I personally like wearing green next to my red hair, as they complement each other perfectly :) And besides, being the transplant geek that I am, I also like the fact that these wires are called "kidney wires."

peace and love,
m
