September 17??!

I can't believe we're halfway through September! I have so much to do! I have to start Christmas shopping for all of my special people, write my narrative for staging at the hospital, clean the house and make a menu for the debate party, and all sorts of piddly stuff like pay bills and rent, buy a new phone (I'm thinking a hot pink one), and deal with inept people who staff helplines (when the companies have 24 hour helplines...I'm talking about you, Alltel--seriously, a phone company without a 24 hour helpline?). Please.

And good lord, the Dow is down over 340 points.

Nick and I leave for Washington DC in 14 days! I'm so excited. It's going to be a blast. I plan to see the pandas :) And all that historic stuff too, I guess ;)

Well, I'm off to work. I leave you with what Tux dreams of when we go to the vet.

Ugh. I was sick at this time last year too, with the same thing! Flu/cold = body aches, fever, sinus pressure, runny nose, cough,general malaise. Yesterday I had a man voice! It doesn't help that heat + humidity makes me cranky. Not fun :(

Hopefully I won't get called in tonight, can get some decent sleep, and will feel better tomorrow.
