I'm baaaaaaaaaack!

No worries, I didn't die, or get abducted by aliens, I wasn't washed away by the floods or blown away by a tornado...I've just been working the 11 am to 7:30 pm shift. Which in actuality means I am done any time between 7:45 and 9 pm. Gosh, even yesterday, I worked 9 am to 5:30 pm, but I didn't get out of my OR until 7:15 pm. But I got a nice call-in bonus for staying, so I guess I'm okay with it! Extra money is always welcome :)

A quick update on everything I can think of:

-Nick and I took a nice vacation to Bayfield, WI. Lake Superior is such a gorgeous lake!

-I responded to my first code at work. My hope is that I never have one in my own room, but well, that's kind of a pipe dream!

-I fell down my stairs and have a nice bruise on my bum :-P

-Tux broke my fan by jumping on it from the windowsill. I'm just glad he didn't get hurt!

-My Uncle Wolf had surgery for the tumor wrapped around his carotid artery, and it went even better than expected. The surgeon didn't have to bypass the artery at all, as he was able to get all the tumor off the carotid!

-Nick and I signed a lease! We are moving to the Eastside, and I couldn't be more excited! We have a gorgeous 2nd story apartment with hardwood floors, lots of windows, a much bigger kitchen, and as Dani says, the building looks like a castle!
