no more snow!

Hello Saturday, weekend, how I love thee! Even though I'm on call, the weekend means I can sleep until I wake up...which thanks to my body panicking around 0730 because I'm not at work is still earlier than I would like. But hey, no alarm clock = lovely!

Currently, it is a balmy 24 degrees, a definite warm up from earlier this week; however, we're on track for another snowstorm on Monday. 4-8 inches on top of the 20ish we already have. ARGH!! Maybe the weather gods will smile on WI and send the storm over us...please?!!

Book: Stillll working on Eat, Pray, Love. I've just finished the "Eat" portion, and let me tell you, I am definitely craving some gelato!

Politics: GO BARACK! We are fired up and ready to go! Awesome results in MKE: we went 71.6% to Hillary's 27.45%, and 90:10 in the student areas. Fantastic results. In my suburb, they went for Hillary, but on the positive side, 48% of potential voters went to the polls. WI as a whole went nearly 60:40 for Obama, and we hit 37% voter participation. Ahh, that always disheartens me, that so few eligible voters participate in democracy, but this number is a definite improvement.
